Helpful information and Conditions for 2010 one and two & THREE day Workshops
WORKSHOPS
The workshops are kept small so that you will receive personal attention
and quality tuition. We can cover all aspects of modelling including
covering cakes and boards, side decoration, and cake toppers.
The materials used can be marzipan, sugarpaste and sugar dough
DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATION POLICY For a ONE DAY and TWO DAY classES a deposit or full payment if booked 4 weeks before. For THREE and FIVE days a deposit of £75 is required, the deposit is non refundable. An invoice will be sent to you for the balance and must be paid 6 WEEKS before the class date. If you do not pay in full, your place may be offered to someone else and you will loose your deposit. If the class is not fully subscribed we cannot refund any payment for your non attendance. Should we have to cancel any class, then payment in FULL will be refunded. If you cannot attend a class due to inclement weather, we will offer you another place. WE WILL NOT TRANSFER YOU TO ANOTHER DATE You should not book flights or trains etc until it has been confirmed that the class will run.
TIME KEEPING - Very important! Class times are from 10.00am until 4.00pm which includes 5 hours tuition time and ONE HOUR for lunch and breaks. IF YOU ARE MORE TTHAN 2 HOURS LATE YOU WILL MISS CLASS THAT DAY.
MATERIALS All materials are provided for the figure modelling classes, but for the complete three dimentional cakes, "sometimes" you will be required to bring your own sugarpaste dummies and boards. UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE for a particular course. These items can be purchased from Maisie on the day if pre-ordered. Available for your convenience, all paste and dust colours, tools etc. Please bring an apron, or you can purchase a class apron.
LUNCHES Bring along your own lunch, but there are refreshments provided to include biscuits fresh juices, tea, coffee and mineral water. There is a Tesco store within walking distance.

ONE TO ONE TUITION One to one workshops are available for intensive tuition. Students decide what they wish to learn These can be arranged at a mutually agreed date The fee is £300 per day from 10.00 until 4.00p,m contact Maisie for availability An invoice will be sent out to you for the balance, it must be paid 6 weeks before the class date.
